Theater Education

I believe that the arts should be an integral part of our education. Engaging with the performing arts develops empathy.  Tackling Shakespeare in grade school and as an adult helps us understand and appreciate the value of our history while challenging us to encounter our own relationships to ourselves, our community, and the world.  

I have been active as a teaching artist, education administrator, and arts education consultant in New York City for over ten years. Today I freelance in all of these areas, doing everything I can to provide our students with access to arts programming. Our young people are tomorrow’s audiences and artists.  

I am available as a teaching artist, guest artist for professional development, and arts education consultant. I am also a founding member of the Apocalyptic Artists Ensemble, a production company with specific focus on arts education.
